Site / Portal Settings

CDN Portal Name

Change the words that appear in the top of the Web browser's window.

Your own CDN portal URL

Update the URL's CNAME to point to the URL of portal.aflexi.net (without the http:// or https:// prefix). This is highly recommended for full functionality of your customizations set in this page.

Example: http://portal.yoursite.com

It can be anything fanciful, just remember to point its CNAME attribute correctly.

Exclusivity Path

Specify a path customers (publishers) will use to log in with the URL http://portal.aflexi.net/p/<exclusivitypath>. Letters and numbers are allowed, and the minimum amount of characters is three.

This path does not take effect if customers login via the customized CDN portal URL that was set above.

Resource Hostname or Preferred CNAME-to subdomain

A preferred domain for the CDN sites CNAME. Set and delagate the NS of the domain settings  to these server addresses...

• ns4.afxcdn.net

Kindly wait about five minutes or so, for our system to refresh itself to activate.

There are four nameservers, so if the domain management console does not allow for such an arrangement, use the first few possible in numerical order.

E-mail Settings

Portal Email

A generally used e-mail address. This is usually the general contact e-mail address, and is the default destination for any notification messages that may come through the portal.

It will need to be a valid e-mail address like contact@somewhere.com.

E-mail signature

Whatever text you wish to place at the end of e-mails sent by the portal to you and your customers.

Look and Feel Settings

Help System URL

An optional direct valid link to an online help support system, if any.

Example: http://support.yoursite.com

Favicon URL

Enter the complete direct URL to a preferred favicon in .ico format via a direct URL to the file. (Free Flash-based favicon maker). What's a favicon?

Example: http://www.yoursite.com/images/favicon.ico

CSS URL

Load preferred Cascading Style Sheet (CSS) file by pointing a direct URL to the file. The CSS file has to be a valid format for the Portal to apply.

Do note that technical experience with modifying CSS files while customizing.

Additional Menu Items

An extra menu has been provided where extra items can be placed using an unordered list HTML format.

Footer Links

Customize the links in the footer. They are once again in an unordered list format, as the example shows.
